Tribalco, LLC, a global provider of mission-critical information technology, telecommunications, and soldier survival services and solutions, announced that Senior Vice President and OCONUS General Manager Joseph Castro’s corporate role has been expanded to now include oversight of the company’s CONUS business operations as well. Mr. Castro previously focused on sales and delivery in Tribalco’s OCONUS markets, primarily in Southwest Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. In this expanded role, Mr. Castro will also oversee Tribalco’s Americas Division.
“Joe is widely recognized as a talented and trusted partner of customers and vendors alike,” said Kevin Moss, Tribalco’s Chief Executive Officer. “Joe’s ability to operate on a global scale has been instrumental in building Tribalco’s business and enhancing our reputation as a global systems integrator to whom customers turn for support of their most complex missions.”
“While our customers are very diverse, they wrestle with many of the same IT and communications challenges: interoperability, scalability, and gaining advantage through emerging technologies,” said Michele Friedman, Tribalco’s Chief Operating Officer. “Giving Joe management oversight over our CONUS and OCONUS work enables Tribalco to provide our diverse customer base with a more holistic view of Tribalco’s global capabilities.”
Under Mr. Castro’s leadership, Tribalco has increased its IT and telecommunications business operations and customer base throughout Asia Pacific and Africa, Europe, and Middle East regions. He supported Tribalco’s recent contract wins on (1) a Land Mobile Radio and communications upgrade project for the U.S. Air Forces Central Command, (2) a strategic command center infrastructure upgrade contract for the U.S. Army, and (3) a radio systems and service contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. With Joe’s assistance, the company has grown its portfolio of contract vehicles to include NASA’s SEWP V, the U.S. Army CTS IDIQ, and GSA Alliant I. He also helped Tribalco earn its designation as a National Security Agency Commercial Solutions for Classified Trusted Integrator.
“We are excited about Joe’s new role. We believe that consolidating our company’s growing global practice under a common management structure will add a new level of flexibility and agility to Tribalco’s service offerings, enabling us to provide superior operational performance and efficiency to better serve our customers,” said Mr. Moss.
