Tribalco, LLC, a global provider of mission-critical technology services and solutions, announced that COL (Ret.) Scott Helmore has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Emerging Technologies. In this new capacity, Helmore will be responsible for accelerating Tribalco’s growth and the success of its advanced engineering division’s national security initiatives.

Helmore will play a leading role in Tribalco’s development of both horizontal and vertical service offerings. He will lead the efforts to evolve and expand Tribalco’s JADC2 product and service lines with a focus on emerging technologies and software trends for Tribalco’s Department of Defense (DOD), Intel, and Coalition customers seeking secure persistent/assured communications, Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), AI, computing at the edge, and continuity of operations solutions in denied environments.

“I have had the pleasure of working with Scott since 2008, and I am thrilled to have him join our team,” said Kevin Moss, Tribalco’s Chief Executive Officer. “He is a world-class pathfinder and strategist of public and private partnerships, government contracting, and program management, bringing his 26 years of military experience and deep knowledge of strategy, development, and creative solutions to bear in addressing regional and national security challenges.”

Before joining Tribalco, Helmore led the federal adoption of both cyber and AI emerging technologies. He was the Army’s first Product Manager for Defensive Cyber capabilities. Scott also helped shape and create the Army’s AI Innovation Center at Carnegie Mellon University and was the first Military Acquisition Deputy to the Chief Digital AI Officers (CDAO) Acquisition Executive. Helmore was a major creator of several unique federal contracts, including DOD’s Chief Digital AI Officer Tradewinds contracts suite and the United States Army’s Cyberspace Operations Broad Requirements Agreement (COBRA).

“Joining Tribalco provides a unique and exciting opportunity to create impactful products, services, and solutions in support of national security initiatives,” said Helmore. “Together with the team, my goal is to leverage Tribalco’s tremendous global reach and culture of innovation to exploit emerging technologies and drive continued growth and exceptional customer outcomes.”
